The Town of Langham is a progressive, thriving community located 27 kilometers northwest of Saskatoon. The CNR rail line and the Yellowhead Highway provide us with excellent links to larger communities across Canada. The Saskatoon Airport is a mere 20 minutes away. Our location is ideal for both industries which want to locate outside of the city and for commuters who work in Saskatoon but prefer to live in a smaller, safer community. Langham is the best of rural and urban life. The small town atmosphere has attracted many new residents and is one of Langham’s biggest assets.
Langham is a young vibrant community that has a lot to offer everyone including young families and seniors. Our schools set high academic standards and as a result students do well in institutions of higher learning. New to the community is an irrigated soccer park which has one full sized and two mini pitches. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy ball diamonds, beach volleyball courts, soccer pitches, curling rink, skating arena, as well as a 9 hole river-side golf course and cross-country ski trails.
We are proud of our fire department which consists of fifteen well-trained fire fighters and first responders who respond to fires, accidents, and medical calls. Police services are provided by the R.C.M.P. and Bylaw Enforcement is provided locally. Saskatoon Health Region provides Public Health and Home Care services.
The community has six churches and numerous clubs and organizations. We are well known for our fabulous October fowl suppers and our annual November dinner theatre productions.
