County campgrounds are family-oriented, with Park Officers patrolling daily for safety and convenience. Also located within the County’s boundaries are five easily accessible Provincial and Wildland Parks, which offer a mix of amenities from serviced campsites to rustic sites and backcountry hiking and camping opportunities. There is also a multitude of private
campgrounds in the County.

For the active outdoorsman, try hiking the wide variety of trails, canyons, hoodoos, and other special sites. With a vast variety of terrain and majestic surroundings, Yellowhead County caters to all caliber of adventurer. But don’t just visit during the summer months . . .
